Firearm Safety Field Day registration

Due to Covid 19, all 2020 FS classes & field days are canceled by the Minnesota DNR.
We will resume classes in 2021.
2021 Firearm Safety:
On-line & Classroom Programs

Wealthwood Gun Club has 14 DNR Certified Volunteer Instructors for Firearm Safety and youth conservation projects.  Each year, we host four On-Line Program Field Days. We also hold two Classroom Programs for students wishing to complete a  "hands-on" Firearm Safety Training Program.
Participants in WRGC's On-Line Field Day must provide their Voucher from  the on-line Firearm Safety Course: ( and a copy of their Birth Certificate (OR Passport, Driver Permit/License, or other legal proof of full name and birthdate).

Download the registration form (available April 19) and save it to your computer before filling in the information. Rename it using your student's name or something other than the downloaded file name. After completing the form, save it again and then open it to make sure the information you entered was saved in the file. Then attach it to an email and send it to
Additional Information
You should receive a return email indicating whether or not you have a spot in the class requested. (Allow 48-72 hours for a response). Class sizes are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Once your registration is accepted, you need to submit a non-refundable amount of $5.00 for the field day to secure your student's spot. (Please mail a check with student's name in the memo area or attach a copy of the registration).The range day will take about 6-7 hours. It starts at 9 am. Registered students will receive an email about 7-10 days before their scheduled date with additional information on what to bring and what to expect.

* After completing the Field Day, you will need to log on to the DNR website and enter the information from your Field Day completion form and submit $7.50 to the DNR for processing your certificate on-line. You will be able to print out your Firearm Safety Certificate while you are still on-line with the DNR.  Save a copy to your computer so you can reprint it if you lose or destroy your first copy. If you are still 11 years old, your certificate will not be valid until you reach your 12th birthday.
